I just heard that the internet offers “anonymous intimacy.” Think about those two words. Totally self-contradicting, but dead on. You can go to the internet and read about how to deal with your deepest darkest secrets, have cyber sex with total strangers, find out what that rash is, even meet your future wife who you only know as of now as butterfly384. Those are very intimate things, but can be done with total anonymity on the web. How strange.
